Great value on starter kit

First time buying from them, and I was looking to save some money. I grabbed one of their candle making kits, and it was a really good deal. Got all the basics to start without breaking the bank. The kit included everything mentioned and the instructions were clear enough. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth.

Good supplies, slight delay

I ordered some fragrance oils and cotton wicks. The oils smell great, and the wicks burn clean, so the product quality is definitely there. My order took a bit longer to ship out than I expected, about 3 extra days, but once it did, delivery was quick. Overall, a solid experience, but they could improve on initial processing time.

Detailed order for business

I placed a larger order for my small business, including several different fragrance oils, a bulk bag of coconut wax, and a variety of candle jars. The ordering process on the website was straightforward; I used the wholesale pricing, which applied automatically. Everything was packed very securely, especially the glass jars, which arrived without any breakage. I tested the 'Lavender Fields' and 'Vanilla Bean' fragrance oils, and they both performed well in my wax blends, with good hot throw. The wax melted nicely and poured smoothly. My only minor observation was that one of the wick centering tools felt a little flimsier than expected, but it still did the job. Customer support was quick to respond to a question I had about a restock notification before I ordered. Overall, a good experience for stocking up on supplies.

Always reliable for wax

I've ordered soy wax from here several times now. This last order for the C-3 soy wax was just as good as the first. Shipping was fast, arrived two days earlier than the tracking said. It's nice knowing I'll get consistent quality every time.

Hey everyone, thinking of ordering a bunch of stuff for my candle biz. Does VCC offer any kind of bulk discount for larger orders?

R Ryan Lopez 1 month ago
Yeah, they do. I think it applies automatically when you hit certain quantities, you don't even need a code.

Can confirm, I got a better price on my last big wax order. Just add to cart and you'll see the price drop.

Can I use more than one promo code at checkout? Got a free shipping one and a percentage off code.

N Nancy Robinson 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure it's one code per order. Tried it before and it just takes the first one.

Unfortunately no, I've heard they only allow one discount code at a time. Pick the best one!

Are their fragrance oils actually good quality? I've had some bad experiences with oils from other suppliers being super weak.

S Sarah 3 weeks ago
I've been using their FOs for years, never had an issue. Scents are strong and true to description.

They're pretty legit, I've compared them to CandleScience on some scents and honestly, VCC holds up really well. Plus, no phthalates which is a bonus.

Is Village Craft and Candle a reliable store? I've never ordered from them before and wanna make sure they're not some shady drop shipper.

O Olivia J. 3 weeks ago
Totally legit, they're a well-known Canadian supplier. Been around for ages.

Yeah, they're the real deal. I've ordered from them multiple times and always had good service and products. Much better than some of the newer, sketchier sites out there.

Hey, comparing VCC to CandleScience. Any thoughts on which one is better for wax and wicks, specifically for soy candles?

A Abigail Lewis 1 month ago
I use VCC's soy wax and wicks exclusively now. Found them to be more consistent than CS for my specific setup, but it might be personal preference.

Both are solid, but I find VCC's prices for bulk wax are often a bit better if you're in Canada. For US, CS might have cheaper shipping. Quality-wise, they're comparable for soy, can't really go wrong with either.
